The Crest Apartments: Included in this package 7 nights’ accommodation in a 1 bedroom apartment. These self-contained apartments offer amazing valley views from your balcony, and ocean views from your front door.
Stay at Coast for an additional $100 per person twin share. Coast features a high standard of self-contained, private accommodation with the convenience of being just a five-minute drive into town or down to the beach. The resort style facilities include a saltwater swimming pool, complementary pushbikes, fishing rods, golf clubs, picnic baskets and snorkelling gear for guests. The 17th annual Governor's Cup Golf Tournament is sponsored by Governor's Lodge Resort.
Governor's Lodge offers resort-style accommodation with 55 stand-alone, one bedroom cabins among subtropical gardens. There are three dining venues, a pool, heated spa and a guest laundry on site.

Event Details
The Governor's Cup is unique event with players entering as a pair and playing 3 different types of games over 3 days. While the main focus of the week is to have fun out on the course, there will still be strong competition with $10,000 worth of prizes on offer. There's daily presentations and an overall presentation dinner held at Governor's Lodge Resort. A two-course dinner is included in the entry fee and a great night of laughs and new friends is guaranteed.

Monday 10 November
- Golf course open to competitors for social practice all day
- 6pm – Registration with Welcome Dinner & Calcutta
Tuesday 11th November
- Round 1 The Governor’s Cup – 4BBB Stableford
Tee-off times: 8am & 1pm - Daily presentation following golf at Norfolk Island Golf Club
Wednesday 12th November
- Round 2 The Governor’s Cup – 2 Person Ambrose
Tee-off times: 8am & 1pm - Daily presentation following golf at Norfolk Island Golf Club
Thursday 13th November
- Round 3 The Governor’s Cup – Aggregate Stableford
Tee-off times: 7:30am & 12 noon - 7pm – Daily and Overall Presentation Dinner at Governor’s Lodge
Tournament Format
- Open to anyone with an official handicap
- The tournament is a pairs event with both mixed and same gender partners eligible to enter
- The Governor’s Cup is held over 3 consecutive days (18 holes each day) with 3 different pair games being played
Points are allocated to each team dependent upon where they have finished each day, with pairs receiving more points with a higher finish. The pair that has the most points after the 3 days will win the Governor’s Cup. Tournament entry fees include function entry for each player. Non-players are very welcome to attend the functions. Please pre-purchase entry to the functions for non-players on the entry form.

What a wonderful little golf course - 9 holes (18 tees).. Winding through historical areas and beach scenes, with the grand Norfolk pines all around - really enjoyed our round and a quiet drink on the veranda of the historical building that serves as the clubhouse.
Terms and Conditions
Prices are a guide only, subject to change and availability, and are in Australian Dollars. Prices are correct as of 9 January 2025. Crest Apartments special is valid for new bookings made by 31 January 2025 and advertised pricing includes the $400 savings. After 31 January 2025 pricing reverts to $2899 pp twin share. Governor’s Lodge bonus 15kg luggage is valid only for Qantas flights from Brisbane or Sydney flights to Norfolk Island. Please check all prices, availability, fees, conditions and information with your travel agent before booking.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is due upon booking: $250 per person if booking prior to 30 January 2025; or $250pp + flights after this date. Airfare may be required at time of booking to commit to Qantas booking terms and conditions.
Final Payment: Final payment is due: 31 July 2025. Payment can be made by personal or bank cheques or by direct deposit into our Commonwealth Bank account. If you would prefer to pay by Visa or Mastercard, please add 1.5% to the total cost of your holiday package.
Changes & Amendments: Changes can be made up to 48 hours (notification business days only) prior to departure at a change fee of $200 per person plus any applicable upgrade fees, subject to availability.
Cancellation: Airfare is subject to availability and non-refundable after issue. Accommodation cancellation penalties apply within 90 days prior to travel. Within 60 days of travel, up to 100% cancellation fees may apply.
We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect you against some unforeseen cancellations.
