Wednesday 2 June 2027
Sydney guests will depart from Sydney International Airport this morning for the flight to Norfolk Island. Wutawieh? Welcome to Norfolk! On arrival be transferred to your accommodation where your rental vehicle will be waiting for you.
This evening make your way to Bounty Bar & Grill for a welcome dinner with our Norfolk host. This week is not an escorted group tour, but your Norfolk host will join you for dinner on some of the evenings, and you’ll also meet like-minded travellers here for the same events.
Thursday 3 June 2027
Brisbane guests will depart from Brisbane International Airport this morning for the flight to Norfolk Island. On arrival be transferred to your accommodation  where your rental vehicle will be waiting for you.
Sydney guests today will set off on the Island Life Tour. Your guide will share the latest information on the island's ethnic groups, nationalities and languages spoken, including the Norfolk Island indigenous language. Hear how and where islanders are born, educated, find work and careers, attend their various churches, are cared for in advancing years and eventually accorded free burial in a carefully tended community graveyard. Experienced leaders will explain the eight original family groups, how their cultural traits are fostered, valued and maintained in today's daily life. There will be a special stop at the top of Mt Pitt for some line dancing photos! The tour includes morning tea and concludes with a delicious lunch at the Boatshed Restaurant.
This evening Brisbane guests will make your way to Bounty Bar & Grill for a welcome dinner with our Norfolk host, whilst Sydney guests have the evening at leisure to try another one of Norfolk’s great restaurants.

Today Brisbane guests turn to enjoy the Island Life Tour, whilst Sydney guests have the day at leisure.

You will receive all 6 tours that will take you all over the island to discover the island's past, history, language, national parks and best-kept secrets.
Sometime during your stay visit the World of Norfolk exhibit offering an immersive experience, showcasing the island's unique history, culture, and landscapes through world-class displays and 28 custom-built glass panels.
Norfolk has a great range of restaurants to try whilst you are here. Bailey’s Restaurant at Governor’s Lodge is a favourite amongst the locals as the Bowlo Bistro or Hilli’s Restaurant.

Today visit the Pitcairn Settlers Village. This 13-acre working homestead offers a window into how the descendants of the famous HMS Bounty mutineers rebuilt their lives after relocating to Norfolk Island in 1856.  The experience concludes with a short film and a warm invitation to enjoy tea, coffee, and the family’s famous guava porpeih jelly served on a biscuit.

This morning you might like to visit the local craft markets. In the heart of Burnt Pine at the Bi-Centennial Complex this is a great place on the island to find local handcrafts, meet resident artisans, and pick up unique souvenirs. Woodcraft, jewellery and delicious eats can all be found here.
Today you’ll visit the Bounty Folk Museum. Discover Norfolk Island’s fascinating history at the Bounty Folk Museum, a treasure trove of collections and exhibits, including the new "Captain Bligh, Myth, Man and Mutiny" exhibit. Located in one of Norfolk's oldest buildings, this museum provides a deep insight into life on the island since 1788.
Tonight make your way to the Ferny Lane Theatre for the Bounty Story. This modern, 80-minute cinematic experience that retells the legendary saga of the HMS Bounty mutineers and their descendants as a cultural bridge connecting 18th-century maritime history directly to modern Norfolk Island life.

Today enjoy a delicious Devonshire Tea at Hilli Restaurant before visiting Fletcher’s Mutiny Cyclorama. This immersive, 360-degree panoramic artwork that tells the dramatic story of the HMS Bounty mutineers and their descendants. An outstanding attraction and Tourism Awards winner, this stunning 360° panoramic painting with realistic 3D effects has been impressing visitors to Norfolk Island with its ‘wow’ factor for over 20 years.
This afternoon, Explore the areas of convict incarceration. Enjoy a walk through the cultural landscape earlier occupied by the military and civil population of the colonial era. This tour is led by a guide with knowledgeable commentary, all conducted within the KAHVA precinct.
This evening make your way to Kingston to enjoy a special dinner at No. 9 Quality Row a historic Georgian-style building constructed in 1839 as the Royal Engineer’s residence. Today, the site functions as a research centre, and tonight’s dinner will take place in the original annex where meals were once prepared by servants for the family dining in the main house. Guests will enjoy a traditional Norfolk Island meal featuring dishes such as pilhi, coconut bread and island pies. The evening also includes demonstrations of weaving, cooking, and the Norf’k language, passed down from mutineer ancestors and their Tahitian wives.

Experience Norfolk Island’s most iconic event as the descendants of the Bounty Mutineers re-enact their historic landing in full period costume. Enjoy morning tea and a traditional island-style picnic lunch in beautiful Kingston, with complimentary champagne, orange juice, tea, and coffee. A truly unforgettable cultural celebration.

Norfolk Island Travel Centre event packages offer the perfect balance of independent and guided experiences. Your time on Norfolk is yours to enjoy independently with the added benefit of several tours and functions included for you to enjoy with like-minded travellers who are on the Island for the same event. There is no tour host for this event. A rental vehicle is included to give you the flexibility to reach meeting points for each activity at the designated times.

Changes & Amendments:Â Changes can be made up to 48 hours (notification business days only) prior to departure at a change fee of $200 per person plus any applicable upgrade fees, subject to availability.
Cancellation:Â Airfare is subject to availability and non-refundable after issue. Accommodation cancellation penalties apply within 90 days prior to travel. Within 60 days of travel, up to 100% cancellation fees may apply.
