This morning, meet your dedicated guide at Brisbane International Airport before boarding your Qantas flight to the picturesque Norfolk Island. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Governor’s Lodge, where you will stay for the next seven nights. This evening, join your fellow travellers for a welcome dinner at the hotel with a local guest, setting the tone for an enjoyable and memorable journey.
Sunday 12 October 2025: Island Life Tour (B, L)
Immerse yourself in an insightful tour of Norfolk Island, offering a deep understanding of modern island life. Discover how islanders are born, educated, build careers, worship, and are cared for in their later years, culminating in a respectful burial in a lovingly maintained community graveyard. Knowledgeable guides will share the fascinating history of the island's eight original family groups and explain how their cultural traditions are preserved and celebrated in daily life. Learn about the island’s infrastructure, including electricity generation, gas supply, and the logistics of importing petroleum products, food, and essential materials. Friday 17 October 2025: Glass Bottom Boat, Baunti Farm & Industry Tour (B, D)
Join Norfolk Islanders Donald and George as they share their expertise on the island’s unique marine life. Once you’ve "walked the plank" with these descendants of the Bounty mutineers, it’s just 60 seconds to the reef. Explore vibrant coral gardens and tropical fish in the calm, crystal-clear waters of Norfolk’s lagoon, accompanied by engaging and informative commentary—and a touch of Norfolk humour—from your knowledgeable guides. This iconic Farm & Industry tour includes a visit to a farm that supplies seasonally grown fruits and vegetables to the local market, a state-of-the-art palm nursery exporting globally, and a stunning home garden featuring hydroponics. Enjoy a cup of tea as you explore this beautiful property, owned by descendants of the Bounty mutineers. Spend your final hours on Norfolk Island at your leisure, reflecting on your memorable journey. This afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight back to Brisbane. Lunch will be at your own arrangement.
