Visitors need to be aware that Norfolk Island call rates are often different and may be higher than Australian and other Pacific nation charges.
Wanting to call home? To call Australia from Norfolk Island, include international code 0011 61 then insert the required number eg. 0011 617 3312 3456 (landline) or 0011 614 123 456 (mobiles). For loved ones wishing to contact visitors on Norfolk Island from Australia, they need to use the international code 0011 6723 then the number eg. 0011 6723 21234 (landline) or 0011 6723 51234 (mobile).
Funny fact – when calling from Norfolk Island to Australia, the call shows as coming from Antarctica as we share the same international code!
